Women in Prison

Updated: Nov 17, 2021

I was incarcerated for a little time, as a woman, being their was so degrading. I almost lost myself in there trying to adapt to the life change. Prison is no place for anyone not even a dog because the way they treat you, you start to wish you were never alive. Just thinking of all the things you would begin to miss family, friends, daily activities, and more importantly your freedom. Once you're behind those doors there is no freedom. You have to eat, wash, clean, sleep, and share your space with strangers. You start to think in the end, damn, was all i did to get here really worth it!!!!!!
