Communication about Muslim Beliefs

Had to do some teaching this morning. Muslims do not celebrate Christmas. Most people do not know that, so they wish you "Merry Christmas", and expect the same greeting in return. Personally I talk to guys before time, and try to respect certain traditions without indulging in them. In prison a lot of relationships are based on assumptions? This can be dangerous taking for granted that somebody knows something, when they actually do not. Communication helps us understand each other a little better. Islam is very considerate when it comes to other faith groups, and traditions. Yet there has to be a line that is drawn, and its consideration. That is what it is.
